"Where's Brailyn?"

So we have the concept down, but most of the time she wants to look at you and grin while she is playing! I guess she thinks she is hidden! She is the cutest little girl I've ever seen, and I'm not biased at all!
She will also open a book and hold it on top of her head! You know she is hidden when she jerks whatever she is "hiding" behind down really fast!

Notice a Pattern?

In case you can't tell she is surrounded by coupons! She got really quiet so I looked over there and somehow she opened my coupn pouch and was just playing!

Pulling out all of mommy's pjs!

This is not allowed but I had to take a picture! She is to smart!

Pulling out all the tupperware!

I got in now how do I get out!

Here lately Brailyn has learned lots of new things! She has learned how to pull the drawers out of our dresser and how to open the cabinets with ease! These are just a few.  She changes by the second and it seems she gets faster by the second.  She has started taking more steps and yesterday she let go of the chair and took some on her own! Usually she only does it when we stand her up to walk between us! Baby proofing the house has really begun! Now I understand what all those moms were saying when they said enjoy her when she is little because when she can move your life will completely change! I know it's going to get even more hectic when she can walk! But I'll enjoy each new milestone becasue they are all a blessing!

I've added two new blogs to my list.  One is our cousin Courtney's, West End Riot.  She is studying abroad in England this semester and her blog details her day to day activities and the sights she gets to see! What an amazing experience! Pray for her while she is there!  The next blog is called Miracle of the Heart.  I have followed this blog since our cousin Karis was born.  Most of you reading this already know about it.  The little boy, Keegan, was born when Karis was.  They both had a lot of complications with their hearts but Keegan more so.  Our sweet little Karis is a healthy 3 year old now.  Keegan just turned 3 but everyday with him is a battle.  I can't explain it all you just need to read their blog.  It just makes you stop and think about your life and how we take being healthy and happy for granted.  It will really touch your heart! Keep Keegan in your prayers also!

Go Curley Wolves!

We took Brailyn to her first Curley Wolves football game! I love football and I hope she will too! She really seemed to tonight.  She loved to watch the cheerleaders and I think her favorite part was the band! Our little sweetheart loves music! She wasn't sure what to think after the first big play when everyone started screaming but she didn't mind it the rest of the time.  We left at the beginning of the fourth quarter because she was rubbing her eyes and restless, but as soon as we got in the car the started talking and having a big time! She looked so precious in her little tutu that Neena got her! Had to be wearing curley wolf colors! I didn't get a good picture of just her, but don't worry Neena, I'll get one tomorrow and post it! At one point tonight she was looking up at the press box saying "doh, doh, doh!" I looked up to where she was looking and sure enough there was a wolf painted on the press box! That is how she says dog! It was close enough! That's our little smart girl! Anyway, here are some pictures of her supporting those curley wolves!
Family shot before leaving for the game!

"What is going on?" Watching the first few minutes!

Mommy and Brailyn watching the game! There was to much going on. She wouldn't look at the camera!
A liitle boy from our church caught a grasshopper! He said it was his pet! he played with it nearly the whole game and terrorized teh little girls with it!
Mrs. Kristi caught a football and gave it to Brailyn! She loved it! Thanks Kristi!
Future curley wolf and curley wolf alumnus! Daddy's so proud of his little curley wolf fan!

Family Time and New PJs!

On Labor day, we spent the day at Neena and Papa Dale's with the Waller's! There were 6 kids there under the age of 5! Talk about crazy! One of Brailyn's cousins, Silas, is just a week younger than Brailyn! I hope we get together enough so they can be good friends and play! We also had a new baby there, Kyra! She turned 2 months old that next day.  It was so sweet holding her! It made me miss Brailyn being that age! Then last Friday we made a flying trip to my mom and dad's for my great aunt's funeral.  After the funeral we went back to mom and dad's so we could see mom for a little bit.  Barilyn got to play with her cousin Whitney there.  Whitney is only 10 days older than Brailyn!  I think they are going to be good friends.  They played so sweet together for the most part.  Then when it was time to leave, Whitney put her arm around Brailyn and laid her head on her! To bad we didn't get a picture of that!

Brailyn and Silas
Whitney and Brailyn trying to get to Maddie the dog!

Finally sharing a toy!

Now the new PJs! I went to the dollaer store the other day and saw these pajamas! I couldn't help myself!  I had to buy them and they were only $5! That's not bad!  They looked like big girl pjs! She looked so cute but I didn't get a great pic! Oh well!

Weekly Cahllenge Verse 4: After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.  Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.  And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil:  For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever. Amen.  Matthew 6:9-13

At the end of the devotional it asked if your kids knew this prayer yet? If not then get started! I wonder what age is to earlt to start! I'm guessing it wouldn't hurt Brailyn to hear it now!

Sweet little busy body!

Brailyn has really kept us busy these last few weeks! It seems like everday she is doing something new! She is into everything and she isn't even walking yet! She sure keeps us on our toes.  She is our little sweetheart! She gave me my first big mommy scare the other day.  She gets into everything, climbs over, under, and around everything! I knew the day was coming where she would hurt herself.  She has hit her head numerous times but it doesn't seem to bother her anymore! The other day she was in her crib just playing and standing up. This is one of her favorite things to do! I was in the room with her, but most of the time when she's in her crib I'm trying to get things done around the house. The crib is a pretty safe place! Ha! I was on the phone and all the sudden Brailyn started screaming! Se was still standing up so I didn't know what was going on! I got off the phone to check it out. I noticed blood in her mouth! Talk about scary, especially for a new mommy! I finally figured out that she ripped the piece of skin that goes from her lip to her gums! I mean totally disconnected it! It broke my heart and scared me half to death! I finally got it to stop bleeding.  The doctor said there was nothing I could do! All is fine, but oh my I did not like that feeling! Anyway, now I'll let the pictures do most of the talking!
Eating spaghetti for the first time! Momma was scared to give her some with the sauce!

Two hands aren't enough!
Such a sweetie! She is starting to grow some hair! We can tell because it is starting to be a mess when she gets up
Now what can I reach?

Getting into more stuff!

Reading her book!
I love this dress!
I got under here, now how do I get out? Under Neena and Papa Dale's coffee table!
Having fun in the kitchen! One of our favorite places to be!

Helping momma do laundry? She loves to pull them all off the couch, then roll around in them!
Looking at some pictures! Not supposed to be messing with them but momma left the room for a minute!

So I know that's a lot of pictures but I can't help myself! We just love her to pieces! We are so blessed!

10 Months Old!

Today Brailyn turned 10 months old! I can hardly believe time has gone so fast! It seems like she should still need me for everything, and now she can just about do anything and get anything she wants all be herself! We love her more today than the day she joined our family! We miss her being a little baby but can't wait to enjoy the rest of her life with her! I'm posting two pictures one was when she was only 2 weeks old! The other is from today! She happens to be wearing the same outfit! Bigger size of course!

Weekly Challenge Verse: "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep.  And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.  Genesis 1:1-3

Our Big Girl

For Christmas this past year, Neena and Papa Dale gave Brailyn a "princess ride-on." It has been in her closet just waiting until she was old enough to play with it. Tonight Jody snuck in there and got it out. They came riding down the hall to suprise mommy! She wasn't sure about riding on it, but she sure loved pushing it and walking behind it! Here is a video of our big girl walking! (Be sure to notice the dancing in the middle!)
