Little Miss Priss

Brailyn has always liked to grab random things and put on her head!   She's pretty funny like that!  Lately she has been bringing me hats and headbands to put on her.  Both of these things are in places that she is not supposed to get into, but that is a whole different story and she looks so darn cute wearing them!  She will bring me different things throughout the day to either put on her head or on her arms.  I didn't know she could become so prissy and into dress up so early!  Here we go!
This one makes me think she is headed to the gym to work out!

Please excuse the finger up the nose!

The changing pad cover!  Yes it is clean!

She just sat down and played for a long time!

Doesn't the bracelet just pull it altogether!

Her pajama pants!  This is her little mirror!  As soon as she gets something on she runs to the stove!

Kind of gangsta! HA

So if anyone can explain to me why she doesn't mind having these on, but always takes her bows off, I will buy you a prize! HA

Mommy and Daddy's Little Helper!

I am amazed at how much Brailyn is observing and learning these days!  It seems like she watches every move we make, and tries to duplicate it!  I absolutely love it, but am also terrified at the same time!  I want to constantly show her Christ through everything I do, and we all know that that is a daily struggle!  She is our little sweetie pie, and we love her to pieces!  Here are a few things she has picked up and been copying the last few weeks!  I love to watch her learn and do!

Helping mommy put the pillows back on the couch.  Now, she has figured out that she can reach them and take them right back off!  And no, our heater was not broken, she wanted to wear her sweater, and did so for about 30 minutes!

I was sweeping the kitchen and laid the broom down for a minute!  When I went back to get it, it wasn't there and this is what I found!

Helping daddy fix the chair!  A Handy woman in the making!

She used to be scared of vacuums! Now this is what I have to contend with!  She follows me around the whole house!

And One Wonders.....

....why my house is never clean!

Oh well!  I give up!

Fun Family Weekends!

The past two weekends, we have spent a lot of time with family!  I don't believe there is anything better or more fun than just visiting with the ones we love.

Last weekend we went to Andy and Jennifer's to celebrate Jody's birthday.  The girls had a blast!  They are starting to bridge the developmental age gap between them.  Now, I'm not saying that they are there yet, but they are getting closer.  They cn actually play together now. Madi has a playhouse, and Brailyn would go inside, and they could play peek-a-boo together.  It was so cute!  We had a really good time visiting with them!

This weekend, my mom and dad made the rounds to see all of their grandchildren!  Let me tell you, that is quite a feat! They headed to my sister's on Thursday night, which is 2 hours away.  They spent the night, and part of the next day there.  Then, they came to our house which is about an hour from my sister's.  They spent the night with us, and then on Saturday they left and headed to my brother's house which is an hour and a half from here.  After they spent the day with them, they headed home which is about an hour from my brother's! Whew!  That makes me tired just typing it!  We had a really good time with them!  When they got here on Friday, Brailyn and I were outside, and after they got here we spent about another hour outside just letting her play!  Brailyn really enjoyed having them here!  She would just lay on her Gramma, and would grin at her Pop-up.  She about wore my momma out playing on the couch with her!  The girl is fearless!  Actually, momma went to bed close to the time that Brailyn did!  We had a really good time, I just wish they could have stayed longer!

There is nothing more precious than spending time with family, and watching your baby get to know and love them as much as you do!

Toddler in Action!

Brailyn loves to go outside!  When the mail runs, I ask her if she wants to go check the mail, and she will walk to the door and say "mai!"  It is the cutest thing!  However, with it being winter, we don't go outside to play much these days.  Since today was a semi-warm day, we decided we needed some sunshine!  After she got up from her nap, we put on some shoes and a light sweater and headed out for some fun!  She had a blast, and so did I!  She doesn't match at all, but who cares!  She had fun playing and I had fun excercising! HA  She is getting fast!  Here are some pictures I managed to snap of my little "Flash!"
YAY!!!!!!

I think her arm out helps with the airflow! She is speedy! HA

Love this face!  I think a car went by!

She was in constant motion the whole time!  So was mommy!

Daddy's Little Princess!

I absoulutely LOVE this picture!  Our pretty little princess!

Jody brought home this crown yesterday!  His boss had gotten it as a joke from some of the girls in the office.  Jody got there yesterday morning, and he gave it to him.  He said Brailyn would love it and boy did she ever!  She would put it on and just walk around so prim and proper!  It was hillarious!  She would go from the stove to the glass doors and back just looking at herself and grinning!  She is to precious!

The Beginning of an Obsession?

Hmm...Do I like these?  12-22-10

Maybe the black ones would match better!

Who me? I'm not doing anything!
What is every girl's obsession? SHOES!!!! Well, that is what they say anyway!  I am a brown and black pair kind of person and that is all I need, but my baby girl may fall into that every girl category!  OH NO!  I may need to get a job to support her! HA  I think Brailyn's real obsession is just pulling everything out of its rightful place!  Whenever we go in my room to clean or put something up, she runs to my closet and just grabs all of my clothes!  She loves to just fall into them.  My clothes hang on the bottom rack, Jody's are on the top! I wonder why!  Then after she tries to pull all my clothes out, she plops down and starts pulling out every pair of shoes I have!  She likes to examine each shoe before she puts it down!  I think I may have a girly girl on my hands!  Maybe we will be able to share shoes, otherwise, Jody may have to get a second job! :)
